Help!! I have a 2018 foreman 500 that is now stuck in 4x4 and diff lock. Will not come out for anything. Won’t make any noise to even try to disengage. Have checked all the plugs for 4x4 and relays. There all good. Ordered a new diff switch and hopefully that’s solves problem but if not does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong. I’d hate to have to take it into a shop. Or buy a new front diff($600+). Help!!!

Did you get into water that got into the wiring connection? Have you sealed them with dielectric grease?

There sealed clean and dry

I had mine do that in the cold once, had to warm it up and all was well after.

Update. I put the new switch on and still nothing. No noises from it trying to switch from 4x4 to 2wd or nothing. I’m at a loss

Hi, did you ever figure this out??? I have the same issue going on with my 2019 trx500fm1. Ordered the switch assembly as well and still not working at all after install. The bike only has 20hrs on it so I don't understand what the malfunction is, its annoying !

How about center-jacking up the bike so there is no load on the differentials. Rotate everything around to see if something is bound up putting stress on the system...
