Hey guys, need help

• replaced fan motor (good)
• radiator is clean .. no dirt or debris (good)
• checked power on fan wires w/ tester (good)
• coolant (good)
• fuses are good (good)

* fan will still not spin and eventually overheats*
my friend said it could be thermostat but not sure
any suggestions?
and if it is the thermostat, where is it located?

When bike is hot enough to have fan running take stick and spin fan. DC motors can get flat spot on armature like car starter. My bike would over heat NO fan than other times work fine. Rocking of bike wile riding was enough to get fan spinning. Took for ever to diagnose that problem on my 500.
