Just got a Foreman 500 ES and I'm new to the electric shift and have a few questions.
First off, whenever I'm upshifting it sounds, to me, like the clutch is grinding some. It always shifts into gear but seems much louder than it should be. I've read about it clunking into gear and that supposedly being normal, but this is a grinding sound like the clutch isn't releasing like it should or maybe idle is too high and its staying slightly engaged. It also lunges when shifting into first from neutral, which also makes me think it might be idled a little high but it is fuel injected so I'm not sure how I would go about adjusting that or if it even is adjustable. I've seen you can adjust the clutch on these but that seems like its more for adjusting slack. Just don't want to start fooling with anything before talking to some people with more experience than myself when it comes to these ES models. Thanks!
