If it starts with the starter after pulling the rope. In my personal opinion the starting mechanism should be fine. Sounds like a poor connection. Hope this helps.
2004 trx 500 just clicks when trying to start.
My Honda only clicks when trying to start it. I have replaced battery, solenoid, and starter. The starter had completely dismantled inside and froze. Replaced everything. It still does the same thing. I pull on the pull rope. The atv then starts up with electric start. I need the electric start. Not strong enough to keep pulling the rope. Could the starter have sheared something in the motor and now I have a dead spot. Trying to troubleshoot this issue. What am I missing.

Battery good? Clean terminals & connections? Solenoid good? Starter check?
Brand New starter, solenoid, and battery. Wondering if I have a bad starter, or if the gear inside is bad. I pull on the starter rope and it will eventually turn over with electric start.Battery good? Clean terminals & connections? Solenoid good? Starter check?
