I have a 2003 Honda Foreman Rubicon TRX500FA that makes a racket when trying to go forward. Will sometimes move when starting out but will stop moving at all after a while. I thought it was the clutch but upon examination it seems good. I disconected the front drive shaft and jacked up the rear end and when I turn the rear wheels the shaft in the auto drum turn fine but the auto drum itself does not turn very well and makes noise. I'm thinking the problem may be in the auto drum. I do not want to take the auto drum off unless I am sure that is the problem because the ball bearings would be a headache getting back in and I would have to make a wheel puller to get the auto drum off. Is there any other problem that may cause this and is the auto drum repairable?
