The recall was for the drain line on the water pump. It sounds like the same place your leaking fluid from.
2003 RINCON LEAKING ANTIFREEZE!!!!!!!
HEY FELLAS, NEED SOME HELP HERE. I WENT RIDING THIS WEEKEND AND MY BUDDIES DAD'S RINCON WAS LEAKING ATNIFREEZE OUT OF THE HOSE LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT SIDE OF THE BIKE, JUST BELOW THE FLOORBOARD. THE BIKE SEEMS TO RUN GREAT OTHERWISE. I REMEMBER READING OF A RECALL ON THE 03 RINNYS BUT I CANT REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS REFERING TO. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

This is a well known problem with 03 Rincons...Tell your local dealer about the problem...They should replace the water pump and overflow pipe for free...But your going to need a new water pump.
I had to replace mine when the overflow pipe was knock off...and mud got into the water pump...now I have the overflow pipe clamped down and a extended the pipe up to the pod.

I bought it from a buddy about 4 months ago.
he owned it since new, I doesn't have the hose on it, and I am pissing out the drain nipple.
if I take it in will they swap the pump and hose?
or since I am the 2nd owner am I screwed?

Black Rinny.. I have the 03 Rincon and have never had a problem with the overflow or the water pump. If this is a recall..I should have this done anyways... I never heard of this recall. When ( approx ) did this recall come out so I can get it fixed.. Also, I am now posting a question ref to the Winch contractor...Any help would be appreciated..
