Do you have a manual recoil as well on that year? I would try there to see if it cranks, if not then replacing the start switch is the best way to go. It's been a few years since I have had to tackle that type of issue. BTW what is the battery in which you are using? Is it holding the correct charge? For it to go down that low is must be fighting to turn the engine over???
2003 500 foreman
Having a starting issue with my 2003 500 foreman. Replaced Battery, starting solenoid, and starter. Still get a drop in voltage from solenoid to starter(12v>7v).
Is it possible that it could be the starter button on handle bar?
