Oh, those are nice and as always your logic is inescapable. I have gages bent at a 45 I was going to use. I'll try to muddle with those.

Got the adjustment done with basic feeler guages. Sounds smooth now. Valves were pretty loose. I wonder if this is a result of going down to the crank case recently?

Btich about this job is access. Fuel tank and recoil starter removal.

Actually, I've done that before. Side wall of an aluminum can is .005" which is the gap my old King Quads were set too. A long thin strip worked great. Unfortunately, gap on the Rubi is greater.
