Hello. I have a ‘01 Foreman 450s that I can’t get the fan to run on. I have hooked the fan to a 12v battery separately and it runs, tried 2 used and 1 new fan control unit, and checked the fuses. When I ground the oil sensor wire to the engine the oil light comes on and the FCU(all three) makes a buzzing noise.

Is there anything else that could be the cause? I have read many post on this but nothing seems to help. Oh and I have ran the engine to over 300° and it won’t kick on. I know I could do the toggle switch option but would prefer it to work as intended due to my son gonna be driving it some. Thanks a lot for any advice

I got the fan to work when grounding sensor wire after I switched the oil sensor with one from a parts atv we have. However now the oil light won’t come on like it normally does when turning the key on. And I drove it afterwards but fan still won’t come on when it gets very hot. Anyone have any suggestions?
