What do you guys think the 1st upgrade you should get for a 4wheeler is?

Hard decision.. I would think tires..but without the jet kit and pipe, you can not spin them as you would want..although..you can not go in deep water without a snorkle... Get my drift ??? What are you wanting to do..Race, Water, Mud...ect........
I dunno... I guess mostly mud+water...
i agree..tires and boot guards first, then you will notice you need the pipe..about that time you'll start wanting a snorkle..then the winch will come..
tires first...then whatever you want to add on if you want more power
I'd buy a winch, then the tires and jetting... You can go alot of places and push the envelope but still get outta trouble with the winch. Then when you push it too hard and puncture a tire, then you can upgrade the tires.
Tires first then get the jetkit , airfilter, and exhaust
Tires and save your self the money and frustration of thinking you want a nice easy 26in mudlite. If you are going to get new tires get the biggest ones you think you will ever need. If not you will be going though 3 sets of upgrades just like the rest of us have.
OK- I think i'm going to get a winch first, and tires whenever my stocks wear out (which shouldn't be long), but after that i don't know.
I'm not going to risk getting a winch off ebay, instead I think I'll get a Mile Marker 2500 (i like the idea of steel gears)

Thanks for all the advice

yep.
I had a couple of gift cards to Wal-mart and saw a 2000 Champion winch for $60. That covers me the bike times 3. I made the plate and mounted it and it works fine. I pulled it up some huge grades yesterday, but could not find any mud to just bury it. It was basically free to me, otherwise I would have got a Gorilla. From what I have heard I would go with a Gorilla over a Mile Marker. But Mile Markers are still good, just cost more $$$.
i think that is a good idea...if it goes out after about 6 uses just get another....dont think it is worth all that money for the warn...unless you are getting the 60 dollar deal on the warn..but i think tht is only kawis and yamis
Yeah, I saw a 1500 winch (made by masterlock!?) at walmart. I didn't see any 2000s or 2500s, though. I just liked the mile markers because of the steel gears. I think I am going to go ahead and get an ebay winch because all the guys on here love them and the feedback on ebay is all good too. I'm considering the Venom 2500, but don't know if I should go ahead and get the 3000... **** decisions....
I went out and got tires and a winch at the same time. Got a bonus at work, you just got to love free money! I have a gorilla winch and after getting the wiring worked out I don't have a problem with it at all, it works great! If I had to do it all over again I would get the winch first also, you can get just as stuck with stockers and need winched out.
I think u should git a winch 1st cause u kan go where ever u want to & then be able to git out . If you buy tires 1st u wont git stuck as much but if u do then ur goin to be there
tires and wheels first
i put new tires on mine, then added better skids and front bash guard, then bought a winch, then had brush guards put on.
Actually I got that winch at Sam's not Wal-mart... incase someone was looking. I was just trying to make it easier to understand... It comes in like a gray tool case.
