A buddy of mine just picked a really nice old Foreman 350, and we are trying to find a source for parts (oem and aftermarket). I did a Yahoo search and came up pretty empty. Do any of yall know of a website or two that carries the parts for an older Foreman like this one?

Mudlord.. I can not believe you posted this.. Just pickd up a 1987 Honda Fourtrax Foreman 4x4 last week for the father-in-law and I was looking as well. The bike runs great, but was trying to look ahead for next mods... I have not found anything specific either.

Rincon...the only thing I have found so far is this place <a href="http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/OEM-Nav~submit_from_stage~4~section_dept_id~1~model_dept_mfr~Honda~model_dept_year~1" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/OEM-...del_dept_year~1" target="_blank">http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/OEM-...del_dept_year~1</a>
988~model_dept_id~206390.asp://http://www.bikebandit.com/partsband...t_id~206390.asp</a>, and the prices for some of these parts are ridiculous!!!

I think we are going to try and mount a disc brake kit on this one, we think it make actually work. I will let you know. By the way, do you mind if I ask howmuch you paid for yours? Chet paid $1200 for this one, and it runs like a top! I think it runs better than my 450 does!! LOL

http://www.servicehonda.com shows a schematic for this one as well. But when you click on the price, it doesn't let you add a quantity, so that leads me to believe that they only have the parts listings and not the parts..??[/url]

Also, does yours have a little electrical plug next to the headlight? We are trying to figure out what in the world that thing is for!

Paid $1500 ... It has a large padded rear cargo bag with seat and larger that stock tires. Dusty, but not ragged on. Yes, it has this electrical plug with 2 prong holes in it that faces forward. Dunno....

ebay has a few parts to choose from for the 350 foremans also. the plug you are refering to is a 12 volt plug for aftermarket assessorys

John I didn't even see your post about the plug. I guess I have selective reading syndrome.

The outlet on this one has a rubber boot on it that pops off, and has a small connector on the bottom of it. Does yours have this too?

Mine is on the right ( throttle ) side of the bike and has 2 female connectors in one housing.. It has wires out the back.. Would be a great place to wire in an airboat headlamp for night riding..

I think it is neat that the headlight comes out for working on someone's bike with like 10 feet of extra cord and then you just pop it back in .... GENIUS !!!!!!!

To bad they stopped making this..

I agree, that is a really nice feature! Although, we were riding last night, and he was behind me on it, and the headlight shook alot, it seemed as though he was flashing his lights at me to get my attention, it was alittle bit distracting.

Yea.. Would be nice to make it more stable, but if you did this it would probably mess up the removable part..

I was wondering if the disk brake kit worked? i'm working on my front brakes now, they are froze up, i hear its pretty common. i would by a disc brake kit if they work. I also have several 350 parts, i have three parts bikes. if anyone needs something i might be able to help. no real good set of plastics though.

im new here and i figured id have to sign up to let you know there isnt much for parts around lol they mostly have to get made, unless ur lucky enough to find some old discontinued part like a DGL for the front...

check out highlifter.com's forum under "honda" lots of good people in there with quality info, and an amazing build up of a 350 in prgress right now

also the 350 4x4 shares the 350x head of the ATC...so any parts for the top end (including crank) will bolt onto the 4x4....lucky for that! head to powroll.com and click on ATC 350x for top end parts and BBK...etc

hope this helps people keep these bike alive!!! :10

PS....the guy building the 350 on highlifter fabbed up disc brakes for front and back for these bikes

i have an 89 foreman 350d and it is always pulling put my polaris 500 out of everytrhing, the foreman has stocki mean ORiginal worn out tires and will pull my polaris with 28 gators out, to me hands down the 350d is the best reliable foreman. i iwsh there was a enough parts to update and rebuild it back to new.

Ive never owned one of the these Foremans but rode with guys that had them back when they were new.87 or 88?
I was just a 20 year old kid and the guys riding these were in their 50s and they had their bikes totally tricked out with all of the Hondaline stuff that was available back then.
That little rubber plug on the side of the headlight was to plug in Hondaline accesories like, Air compressor ,spotlight, etc.Honda also sold cargo containers that mount to the racks to put all this stuff in.
If I remember correctly? There is also a harness in the rear for hooking up trailer lights?
The ATC Big Red also had these features.
I will say that im 42 years old now and had forgotten about how the Headlight comes off.lol

$1200-$1500 is what these things are going for around my area although I did see a reallly rough and not running one for 700 a few months back.
