Hello everyone.
I'm new to the forum and am hoping someone can help me. I've had a '87 fourtrax 350 for many years. The CDI unit recently went bad, and as I was replacing it, some of the wires came out of the connector. Does anyone have a diagram showing the colors/ arrangement of the wires ? I have the Homda service manual, but it doesn't show the exact placement of the wires in relation to the colors. I did my best trying to put them in their places, but I want to make sure.

The 87 350D was an oddball year. The CDI's for that machine will ONLY fit that machine. 86-87 TRX350's used one CDI, the 87 350D used a different CDI, and then the 88-89 350D's used a third CDI.


I have several TRX350's, but I do not have the 870 D model.


I know a guy who has and is working on three of them. I'll text him and see if he'll take a pic.

Anybody have a color diagram for cdi for a 1987 Honda trx350d I am a 15 years old trying to wire this thing can anybody point me in the a direction
