On my 04 rubicon and my dads 04 foreman when the key is on the 12 volt power outlet is on. The motor dosent have to be running, just as long as the key is on it has power.

I'm putting on heated grips as soon as the come in and was wondering if anybody knows if the 12 volt power outlet is killed when the egntion switch is off.

yes switch off no voltage to outlet
