06 Foreman 500 with Slack in steering

My bike has slack in the steering both ways. Does anyone know what the problem could be???

Try tightening the nut at bottom of stem. Take cotter pin out, put loctite on threads and reinstall w/ ~ 80ft/lb

mine came loose at the bottom too. My spacers cause more strain on the steering. Tightened it up and its fine now.

Check all your tie rod ends, I had to replace mine a couple months ago.

yeah the nut on my steering stem came loose as well. got it tightened up and solved the problem.

I had a similar problem, turned out my tie rod was loose. Dealer fixed it and replaced the Mudlites since it had eaten a bunch of tread off of them.
