mine did same thing ended up being sensor on side of carb...2002 rubi500

Mine is doing the same thing and I was about to buy the ECU…but I also JUST replaced the carb before it stopped getting spark…so now I’m thinking this is a likely cause, or just extremely convenient timing…how do I check that sensor to diagnose or rule this out??
