01 Honda foreman 450 runs but takes a log time to move in 1st

I have a 01 Honda foreman 450 that doesn’t want to move when I tern it on and place it in gear it take a long time to move up a small hill at half throttle but after a while it goes away until the next day. what could be the problem?
