jeepwm69 Welcome to the board.


Normally, no, that wouldn't be a hard fix. Ubolt the valve cover and head, put a new gasket in, bolt back together.


Just keep in mind that prior owners could have snapped off a bolt or two which might be why it's leaking. No way to know till you take it down.

2006 Honda recon 250 oil leak

Hello I just purchased a Honda recon 250 today . It has fresh oil around the top of the cylinder head. I can not really tell where it is coming from . I am the second owner . Would this be a hard repair to do?
