Fourtrax 300 NO SPARK

I have been working on a 1990 fourtrax 300. I have no spark at all. I have checked all fuses, checked all of the connections, replaced the coil, checked the kill switch, replaced the CDI, and replaced the starter (not the problem but needed changed anyhow). The motor will crank but that's it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm stumped. Thanks

All the connections in the battery box are good? They are good for corroding is why I ask. Sometimes you have to play with the wires a little to find one that is corroded off.

Other than that it sounds like you down to testing the stator/pulse generator.

All connections in the battery box are good. I took them all apart and put them all back together. What's the easiest way to go about testing the stator?

Still not getting any spark. So far new parts include: coil,CDI,voltage regulator, battery,starter, and plug. One thing I did notice that was odd is that the motor will crank even when the kill switch is in the off position. Help!!!

Got a test light? You sure you're getting power at the ignition switch? Power to coil?

The older machines will turn over with the kill switch in the off position, nothing wrong there. Do you have a service manual for some testing?

If you haven't, pull open the black "waterproof" box under the front plastics where the handlebar wires meet to the main harness. Last 2 older honda's that showed up with no start but crank over were bad wires in that box. I just soldered those together and cut out the plug-ins because they couldn't have been cleaned up.

It's the very first place I'd go. Found out the hard way on my '88 300.

All of the connections in the box are cleaned up and have a good connection and still nothing.
