I have a 2005 Rincon with 2500 miles and never put a wrench on it except oil, filter and regular maintenance, irs is a better ride than straight axle. They have plenty of power for plowing even without low range. I recommend using Rotella t6 synthetic oil in all honda's.

Some of the early Rincons had cam issues, and the 03-05 had drum brakes.

That said, with low miles and hours, if the price is right grab it.

You can upgrade to disc brakes by simply swapping 06-current Rincon, 05-11 Foreman, or 05-14 Rubicon knuckles, calipers, and rotors onto your bike.

If you have cam issues, put a new cam in.

Other than those minor things, they are good bikes.

2009 Foreman 500FM Green

2006 Foreman 500FM Green

3K Superwinch winch

2009 475 Rancher AT Tan

We got a buddy that has an old Rincon...it is a testament to how a Honda will hold up under harsh conditions.... this guy has beat the $**T out of his every since he has owned it.... dogged it out, left it out in the weather and just never really took care of it.... and it lasted up until he sank it... Jeep got it up and running again.... he shouldn't have to buy beer the rest of his life now as many man hours he has in that thing...

They are not fun to work on if you have to tear into the motor.

But my buddy's 06 has been ridden hard and put up wet since new in 2006, and I have to say I'm amazed at how well it's held up.
