Rubicon HELP!!!!

Hey guys I have a 2009 Rubicon 500 has electric shift and was taken for a ride in a flood, it sat for 18 months on the insurance to do their deal and I just got it back drained the oil and water out of the motor local dealer says it needs a new motor.can I replace with a 650 rincon from a 2005???

I wont say it's impossible but that would be a nightmare of work to be done.

Is the motor locked up? Have you tried to get it running?

it would not be worth all the problems, nothing like the ruby motor. Did water get in the engine? if it sat that long with water in it the motor will have to be completely torn down to see the damage, if insurance covered it just replace it. if not a complete rebuild is the only option.
if the engine is seized probably a rebuilt engine would be best. sorry to tell you this but no other options in my opinion.
