min width to me would be 60 inch, and might just be the perfect size!
I have a moose plow now 20 yrs and beat the snot out of it and still works like new!
so this brand will get my vote for a plow blade
type of mount, IMO Mid mounts are the strongest, splits weight and stress better than all on the front end like front mount units, but this would depend on how much you plan to maybe use the plow, and to many all the Pro's of a front mount, beat the CON's of a mid mount set up!
both work well, both can be pretty fast on/off with experience!
lots of treads that tell of pro's and con's to both if you care to look them up!
I would also recommend a GOOD brand name winch, syn line seems to last longer for most, but BOTH steel or wire will break with enough use and when you OVER IN on the line,
I can re tire on wire rope in seconds, yrs of having to at times , so, BOTH can break, both can be tied back on to get you RIGHT back up and going
depends maybe on your budget
but I wouldn;t recommend buying any CHEAP winch for plowing, as you will be doing thousands of IN/OUT"S, which is a LOT of wear and tear on switches and even winches, so a good brand name is the way to go
I have had excellent luck with superwinch brand, IMO best winch for the buck
but also admit many GOOD winches out there today
as for mounts, many seem to like KFI best!
