Arrow SunF Power Tires

Went out on a limb and bought some low cost, sort of off-brand tires. The SunF "Power" A033, they look to be knock-offs of the Maxxis Bighorn, there's three other companies making this tread pattern now. SunF, Wanda, and MassFX.

Price was nice, at $249 for all four, with free shipping, and $20 to mount.

Just had one day to try them out in plenty of mud and one trip down the blacktop. So far, I'm really pleased. They've got great traction, clean out well, are stable, reasonably quiet on the blacktop, and give a decent ride quality. I pulled some logs and a tractor in the mud and didn't spin a bit.

These tires will definitely dig in and roost.

The old front tires were completely bald, so it may just be having some tread that makes the difference. Have yet to see about wear, but I think I would buy these again.

I have a set of bighorns on mine. They are wearing quite well with over 1000 on them. Keep us updated on the wear and handling. Those tires are half the price of what I paid. What’s the ply rating.

Never mind I see they are 6 ply. That’s still a good price for those.

Yes, 6 ply, bias.

Will report later after I get some miles on them. Will be hitting the poker runs with a passenger, cargo box, and cooler, so they're going to haul some weight.

Read a lot of reviews before I decided. Some people complained about the packaging and the way they compress the tires for shipping. These came in 2 pairs, with only one front tire compressed a bit. Since I've been mounting motorcycle tires with zipties, I went ahead and ziptied the fronts, they sat for 2 weeks like that. I saw it would be impossible to mount this way, so I cut the zipties and put four coke cans between the beads for a day or two while I was painting the wheels.

Went to the tire shop for mounting and I was in/out in 5 minutes. They had no trouble seating the beads with just the air hose.
