im pissed i just found out that because i was born late '87 i have to go thru an ATV safety course to go out on the trails, i got it all set up for next month in buffalo but i bet it will be with a bunch of children loved the rain we just got tho hope it really greens up the lawn

^right^ i figured i better take the class and not risk it, i dont want my ATV taken, bet you i would go 1/2 mile and get picked up

No, it would be the last mile, after you feel more secure about being out.. Then they would get you..
I am surprised though that you actually have to go take a class..
My wife had to do something like that to ride snowmobiles, but for that all she had to do was send away for a CD from the DNR, then take a test at the end of it and send in the results with a small fee.

yeah i called the dnr for the cd i do the test print a certificate then i have to take the certificate to the class sit through all their crap do a riding test, pass, log online, enter the instructors id number, wait for permit or some crap like that, at least that is what the lady said i had to do, i dont really see that on the website for ages 16 and older so hopefully she was mistaking because i really dont want to sit in a classroom all day this is the dnr atv site that has the requirements i do think she might have been wrong about the class ATV safety training: Minnesota DNR

I just called the D.N.R. and the lady I talked to was wrong.... All I have to do is go thru the Cd and pass the test. No schooling for me

So on May 15th when the Red Top ATV park opens up you will be ready!
CD wasn't that hard was it, just took a while to get through is all...

yeah i gotta get a trail pack and stuff... i wish i lived just 3 miles north, id be out right now i live basicly on 94 and monticello is so close to big lake you could spit on hwy 10 if you had the angle right
