Air filter housing/body for 2003 450 foreman

Im looking for the metal housing/body for a 2003 450. It's the part that goes inside the filter.

Thanks

Get a K+N air filter and you don't need one

Uni doesn't use the middle thing, and is a lot cheaper than a K&N.

I don't trust K&N's on off road vehicles. Ran one on a Jeep for awhile and found fine powder in my carb throat. Did some searching and apparently they don't do a great job filtering off road.

Thanks. I didnt know that! There's a new one on there now but I'm not sure of the brand. It's just connected to the air box and I didnt know if the screen was necessary. It's a plain yellow foam one. I'll double check and see what it is.

yellow foam sounds like the OEM filter ----- which uses the screen to help the foam keep it's shape and to catch the pieces of foam when it disinergrates LOL

That screen has another purpose, it's to prevent a back fire from catching the oiled foam on fire.
