2005 fuel gauge is blinking.

Hello, I have not been on here since like 2013 but I just got the Yellow Submarine back up and moving again! She's been sitting for about 5 years and now the fuel gauge is blinking. It's full of fuel, fresh fuel, and runs like a Honda. I have no idea what it is. Also how do you make your own password for the forum? Thanks!

My fuel gauge is blinking also. Last time it did it from sitting with no fuel, it corrected itself after a tank of fuel. I'm guessing it had aome buildup on the level aenaor.

Float is either unplugged or has gone bad. If it sat for years you probably have varnish buildup on the contacts on the sending unit. You could pull it out and try to clean it, but more than likely you'll just have to replace the sending unit.
