Please identify this!

So I noticed this hose hanging down underneath my 2008 Foreman 500 near the rear axle. It appears to be coming from the carburetor, but I can't really tell. Is it supposed to be connected somewhere or is it a vent of some sort? The pic is taken from the rear of the vehicle looking forward. Thanks!

Carb overflow. If your float sticks on your carburetor, that allows the fuel to run out on the ground under the ATV. If it's clogged and your float sticks the fuel overflows into your motor, filling your engine with gas.
