2wd/4wd issue and throttle question 2007 Foreman ES

Hello All,

I've got a 2007 Foreman ES and it has a peculiar problem. When the Foreman is in 2WD is seems to run perfectly fine as far as I can tell. However, when I put the switch into 4WD is appears fine at first, but when I hit the throttle hard the bike completely chokes out and sometimes stalls. It doesn't matter if I'm flat ground or on a hill.
I'm not hearing any mechanical grinding or weird mechanical noises. The 4WD does appear to be mechanically engaged when the switch is engaged. When I switch back to 2WD it is funny for a bit with and chokes at full throttle but seems to settle down eventually

To try and mitigate this issue the carb has been serviced recently, oil has been changed. It's been recently in the shop for a mechanical inspection.

Needless to say, I've stalled it out on a couple of quite steep hills and had to carefully wheel the bike down. I've also stalled it in 5th going 30mph on flat ground. Also not fun.

I've scoured the forum and haven't found anything. Hoping for a miracle or any ideas.

As a follow up:

It seems the bike seems to bog down in 2wd drive to once the atv is warmed up. Particularly present when the bike is on a slight uphill (2 degree) in first or second and I give it a little bit of throttle. Again no grinding or mechanical noise present.

Very odd. I'd check the wires running to the front diff actuator (green plug, right side of front diff, in the middle, under the plastic cover). I would think if you had a wire grounding out it would blow the fuse, but since the front diff is electrically engaged it's odd that it would affect the engine.

@jeepwm69, would an issue with the angle sensor cause it to do that? I've read some really weird things about folks having issues with them so just curious. Just a thought since it would effect the performance of the engine and would tend to cause more issues in 4x4 than 2x4.

Has it worked alright before and just started doing this? Did it start doing this after the carburetor work? One of the things I would check is the carburetor, float could be wigging out if the diagnosis is still only doing it on an incline.
