450 foreman 4" lift?

I see the boy's down southern states running big lifts with long a arms etc. Can you purchase these kits or are they all custom builds with axles out of what? And homemade a arms? How are these done. A 2" lift on my bike has the a arms maxed out with no drop travel left.

I have never seen a 4" lift on the 450. I actually picked up the preflex kit on ebay a few days ago for an 02 but it fits perfectly on my 99. I think a 4" lift would require heavy modification like longer axles and swing arms to keep the driveshafts at the correct angle. I could be wrong though. I havent been able to find a long travel kit for these bikes yet. Also you have a problem with the bike being a solid rear axle.

Tks. Ya the axles etc. Would be an issue for sure. It's likely way too much work for sure, just wondered how they did it. Intrested in hering how the preflex kit is.

Anything over 2" on a Honda is custom, and is going to be $$$.

I have only had a chance to put the front on but this weekend plan on finishing the back. I can tell you right away from the look and feel of the font it rides much better. It basically relocates your shocks inward and up about 1 to 2". I did not do a before and after measurement but it is taller just looking at it. Preflex does not make them anymore that I know of so I was super surprised to find them from a Canadian company on eBay for $99.

Just curious what do you think could be the biggest tire that you can run with the 2 inch lift and how big of tire with the lift and the black wheel plastics taken off. I want to put 31s on it

You can get 31s on it with some plastic trimming. I have 30 inch zillas on mine with a 2 inch lift and they just clear the plastics
