I saw the twin setup and liked it so i tried it. Work great. I thought it would be harder to construct than it really was.

#15 ·
did you do it yourself or use mine????? out of curiosity

#16 ·
I looked at your setup for a couple days and the parts you used and went at it. I had to run it a little different than you did because if just wouldn't fit the way i though you did it on the right side so i had to go under the gas tank under the oil cooler and out the right side mud shield. Other than that it is you design. Thanks for coming up with it. Looks good and does compermise engine power.

thanx gald it was of help on th right side i went rigth down the mddle once i got around the motor then used a 90 elbow then cut a hole through the inner fender on the left sitting on four wheeler side i went along the left side and had to cut like an oval in the inner fender sorry i forgot to mention that

Have you done anything to about all the vent lines, is thing about running them into one of the snorkel pipe, but i wasn't sure if the vacuum the motor was pulling throught the intake would could any problams on the vents.

#20 ·
yeah i run them ALONG the snorkel not in i believe it would draw to mych vaccumm for the carb lines

Looks really clean and neat.

Is there any benefit to doing a dual snorkel as opposed to the single?

Or is it a looks kinda thing. I'm kinda lazy and have not done any venting or snorkeling yet to my machine. But, when I do decide to tackle it -- Does the dual set-up do anything as far as performance and not need jetting changes?

Thanks,

DK

machine wouldnt run right off a singl 1.5' so i run 2 1.5' and it runs absolutley perfect and it looks good

#23 ·
no jetting changes either ask the guy in the other pics posted **** tell you

I have a stage 1 jet and i think you can tell a difference. It sounds deeper, and just feels strong on take off, i can actually pull the fronts wheels without standing on the rack. Its a bid difference. I am thinking about adding a k&n filter to see if can get a little more power. I am in progress of running the vent lines, ill post more pics when completed.

i am trying to re do mine so you cant see the pvc, how did you fit it under the gas tank? i am not sure if my 05 foreman 500 is the same setup but it does not look like it will work the same.

can i get a front view of that? from the front under the fender on the right side.
