The left rear wheel bearing is a sealed bearing from the factory. Like mentioned earlier if the hub stop is missing the hub will put extreme pressure on the bearing causing it to fail. The factory parts are cheap for the left rear side and I very seldom replace the brake side as it's a double bearing and holds up much better.
