Hi all , how important is it to check valve adjustment , do they tighten ?? do they get to much clearance , my foreman got 2000 hours dont think the valves have ever been adjusted , asked few guys who work at atvs " never saw one need adjusted yet on 450 " and dealer to opps .
may be they have never looked !!!!!!!!,
How would i know if they were out of adjustment

i have a 2000 450 es and i bought it with high mileage and was tortured by a youngster anyway its got 19600kms which is about 12000 miles and i had been driving it now fr 4 yrs and i just had the valves set WICKED how much power i gained they were ticking and thought she was done fr good but when i set them man what a difference and if your mechanically inclined its way easy to do good luck and get DIRTY
