    BRAND OF ANGEL EYE RECOMMENDATION
As mentioned below I initially purchased a made in china off brand angel eye and started having problems with shorts very shortly after install.

I just ordered and almost immediately received my new angel eyes from LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS .

Just like the name of the website indicates these lights are much much brighter. They also have different grades of angel eyes for you to select from.

One super cool thing that this company offers is a diffuser element. It's only like two bucks and is basically a thick plastic circle that the LED angel eye sits in.
When you turn them on this diffuser really works and gives the illusion that it is a CFL angel eye light which gives is a solid circle of light instead of tons of little LEDs group together in a circular pattern.

I HAVE NOT INSTALLED THESE YET BUT WILL POST BACK ONCE I HAVE AND HAVE RUN THEM FOR A MONTH OR TWO!!

Hey Juni, I'm curious just how well have the angel eyes held up since you installed them?

EDITED.... NO LONGER RECOMMENDING THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED LED'S.. TWO OF MINE STARTED SHORTING AFTER 2 or 3 days worth of riding.

Already reordered from superbrightleds.com and will post back once i've given them some time.
On a side note.. My friends blues from the same place I previously recommended are still functioning fine?!?!?!

    Angel eye headlight mod

What you need: 2 60mm led angel eyes
heat gun (or you can use an oven)
    Clear silicone
    Flathead screwdriver

Step 1: Slowly go around tha lens with the heat gun to melt the glue that holds the lens to the unit.

Step 2: Pry between the lens and unit with a flat head screw driver as the glue melts.(This will take some time)

Step 3: Once the lens is taken off silicone a 60mm led ring around the light bulb hole. ( I ran my wires through the lightbulb hole and cut a small slit in the rubber piece)

Step 4: Remelt the lens back to the unit. There should be enough glue left around the unit to hold the lens on. I put more silicone around the grooves just to be safe. Also after they were glued back together, I went back around the out side with more silicone. (The more silicone you use, the better it will hold)
