Talking NC here

Found this forum while looking up info on a 2005 Foreman 500 I'm looking to pickup here soon. Its a smoker so I plan on having the head redone and replacing the rings/piston/bore the cylinder. It has low hours, snorkle, aluminum skid plate, Kimplex front and rear bumpers, near new set of 27" super lites. I cant wait for this deal to go through and finally own a 4 wheeler.

oh ok, my personal experience on trying to recover 500 honda hasn't been good after about 100 miles it started smoking again. the only way to be even close for it to not smoke again is to split the case and clean it good and go with a size bigger toped, and do all and any motor then. to be done with it. where do you ride at?

Yeah, I know thats the best way to go. I had to do that with my RT 180 that I have. Previous owner kept destroying pistons, so I had the case split and cleaned with new bearings and seals. Ive never been to Busco beach or any thing like that. We use to ride the creeks and through the woods around here but too many people started tearing up the land. We had a good thing. Now I just ride what ever I can on my in-laws land.
