Default Hello from palmetto

I just brought home a 97 foreman 400 4x4. It has lots of little issues and I joined to pick your skulls for info on how to get her trim and tight like she was when she was new (my dads old rig). It has been ridden hard but she has lots of life left in her.

I'm an educator, husband, and a new daddy. I live about a hour south of Tampa. I love messing with cars and trucks. I have a pretty knarly power stroke and used to mess with mustangs. I love Russian guns, love to fish, and I'm learning how to hunt. I have an addiction to star wars books and I talk way too much.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. She started right up and rode around great. Time to do that 450 suspension swap I read about on here. My rear is shot due to a cousin pulling telephone poles with this thing.

Anybody know where to get some 400 and 450 shocks for a 280 lb dude without breaking the bank? Don't say eBay that's my backup plan.

if you mene you are going to take your 400 rear shocks and move them to the front and get 450 rear shocks and put them on the rear ?
if so ebay is gona be your best bet for used or........buy new from the stealership.
or get 2 used foreman 400 rear shocks (to replace the ones your cousion wrecked) and get a 2in brackit lift like this
Foreman 450 (98-01) Foreman 400 (96+)
