I ride in Travis mostly off Hwy 587. It covers Jackson, Lee, & Owsley county. Alot of ridin up there it would take several days to see it all. Turkey foot is mainly gravel roads. It sux in my opion man. And it is patroled heavy by the Game Warden. So if your off the trails riding without a helmet or goofing off in anyway and get caught doing it you recieve a ticket. They are strict on drinking too if you are drinking in camp they will haul you to jail no exceptions. Rock Lick is ok but the name says it all. It's off Hwy 3447 at the top of Big Hill. We will get together sometime and I will guide in Travis. It will be October before I can go. I have several events coming up this month. But anytime after that is no problem. Later man!!

My wife & daughter and I all ride it's a family sport in our household. Feel free to checkout our rides in my pics. We ride all over the U.S. Our favorite place to ride close to home is Brimstone Recreation Area in Huntsville TN. And I would have to say my favorite spot we have ever rode is the Big Horn mountains in Wyoming absoulutly breath taking! I'm new to this forum but HUGE ATV's are nothing new lol. We enjoy some competion riding during the summer. I enjoy running a few events a year in the Swamp Cross class. I am here to meet new people and to use the forum for parts and reference's. I have already found a useful PDF file I have down loaded for $5.00. Ya cant beat that for a complete mechanical skematic break down of everything on my Foreman 500. I look foward to hearing from you all. Thanks Mud Bitch'd Foreman!!!

Sounds good. I think I may have been to what you are calling Rock lick. I have road up Owsley Fork road and up log cabin road, then across Hwy 2004, then dropping into the Daniel Boone there. The only thing I have heard it called is Big Valley. I would love to find a place to park around there. One hill back into Owsley is a little much for me. I flipped my old foreman 450 twice on that hill. The part I have been on has tons of water crossings, I thought it was a hoot. I would love to take my wife there with he rancher. There is no way I'd get her up that hill lol.

Man I can getcha a spot to park I know all kinds of ppl in Jackson County. And as far as that hill goes will getcha out the top side if I have to winch ya with my wife's Rhino. And if you have rode thru Owsley you have rode into Rock Lick. But theres another side to it most ppl that have been riding there for years dont know about. A lil rough gettin there but well worth it. It's called Big Creek and the name says it all lol. In the fall of the year ya gotta be snorkeled to get across. But once your across its smooth sailing lol. Some absoultly beautiful country. I can take ya to an overlook that is breath taking. Later man!!

Thanks for the link man. I may try to attend just have to see wassup with work at the time. I can usually get away for 3 or 4 days without any trouble. But we have a few fixing to get fired over failed DT's so idk wassup at the moment. But I'd like to try it. Brimstone, Coal Creek, I have yr passes for. I never cared much for RRB though tried it once. There to **** strict!! No riding after dark noise ordanance etc. Just BS in my opinion. But it may have changed since idk. Either way I'd be down to support the cause. Honda does alot to ensure trails are maintained and open to public coast to coast. And I'd like to be able to say I helped out with that. Thanks again MBF!!!

it has changed their are night rides all the time, BUT if they have any rules it with in the bounds of their Camp Ground, which is only Common Courtesy/Sense type stuff...... (NOT a big Fan of those people either)

but I only live about 2 miles from that place, So have never stayed their & I dont ride on that side of the HWY much I ride on the Brimstone side, matter a fact I could ride all the way to their main office from leaving my front yard!

A misconception about Ride Royal Blue, a LOT of people thinks the Camp Ground owns the Riding area when in FACT they do not! they just share the same name............... Royal Blue is owned by TWRA and open to anybody
