Default Howdy from Houston

Hey I just got my 03 Rincon bout 3 months ago to retire my Z71 Tahoe from mudding as im tired of having to get rides to school in work when i break it [img][img] . For the first two months I was taking it to the beach every weekend and toyen around but finally got a ticket on San Louis Pass even though no sign exists on that beach and that beach only saying no fourwheelers P.S. there were 37 other four wheelers that I counted out there alone that day haha. So I took my quad to an actual atv park on a river and discovered quickly that the previous owner half assed his snorkel job (didnt re-route the carb vent or seal the air box completely...) So next day I knocked that job out and have been tearing up the ole honda ever since! (Sept now it doesnt know what gear its in! Just flashes at me and decides which forward gear it wants which is never first though haha) But hey if anyone is in the Houston area hit me up and lets go riding I'm in desperate need of at least one atv buddy seeing as none of my friends can afford an atv and i dont have my winch yet and its lame waiting for someone to drive by to pull ya out! This is a great site by the way i'll be sure to find lots of useful info here see yall in the mud! Travis

Welcome to the forum Travis. In the Rincon section there is a sticky with the code retrieval procedure.

I need to replace a cv boot, but would like to do some riding as well. Welcome to the board.

I bought my rincon with a torn boot but luckily it hadnt been torn for long since most of the grease was still in it and there wasnt any dirt in the boot so while I waited for my new one to get in I just took one of the thick plastic bags that cv axles come in from my work and wrapped that SOB then ziptied it so I could go riding for that weekend and it worked great there wasnt any contamination issues

I might try that to get me by. I ran over a bunch of sticks last weekend at the deer lease clearing some brush. It was not torn before I rode it last weekend so I am sure that the joint is still ok just need to do the boot.

Welcome, Travis. Hey I'm new to the site too and about to pick up my ATV Sunday. I'd be happy to get out there with someone else on the weekends. Not sure which of us would be pulling the other out but sounds like fun.
