I have a 2000 foreman 450 . It won't start with the electric start yet turns over just fine , starts right away with the pull cord , sometimes it will start with the electric start , seems to start by electric start when it's hot out , I've changed the battery , and the starter twice , I think the stator at a certain temperature doesn't produce enough power to turn the starter and create spark at the same time , could maybe even the voltage regulator ?
I have a 2004 fourtrax 400 automatic , won't back shift when in auto and seems like the clutches are slipping , in electric shift mode it's fine , same thing happen to it when it was more and the clutch shoes were worn and the drumb , after changing that it was fine , so it started doing it again now , checked the clutches and they aren't worn like last time , tested the bank angle sensor and the voltage tests fine when checking in every gear , can't understand this time .
