I currently have a trx250 and I have questions about the fluids it takes.
Does it take antifreeze and if so where is the place to put it? Also what type of oil do I put in it and when the time comes to changing the oil how do I do that? I dont want to take it apart or mess with anything because I know messing one simple thing up can damage something. So if anyone can help, thanks.

welcome to the forum. i doubt its liquid cooled.

what year is it??

run oil that is jaso/ma approved

use oil thats for wet clutches.

Welcome to the forum. You have an air cooled motor so no antifreeze. Answer the other question and we can get specific on doing an oil change.

Its a 2002 and if its air cooled even better less for me to worry about lol And if you can get as specific as possible please do so. i really dont want to screw anything up, and im in a tech class so i know how easy it is to mess something up and have to repair alot with money i dont necessarily have lol.

recon's aren't liquid-cooled. no coolant required. use the honda brand gn-4 motor oil.

go down to your local honda shop and buy some honda 10w-40 gn4 motor oil for your recon
