the foreman is a 475cc and the recon is a 229.6cc. i've ran the 25's on my old recon. it did just fine. a "trail bike" wont be put the rigorous strain a 4x4 will be if u think about it. the recon's are a tough bike. imo there one of the best quad's that honda makes. i sold my 01 recon to my brother. we got different dads, so he's half tongan. he weighs 290lbs and would bottom the rear shock out on most bumps. that little thing lasted him 2 yrs(of which he never cleaned the air filter or changed the oil) and then sold it with nothing wrong. he just thought it was time for a bigger bike. lol
