if you want to do a leak down test this is how to do - this is from a honda technical advisor i used to deal with-- pull the spark plug and if you can find a compression tester with a quick coupler for an air hose from a compressor, hook it up and look/listen for leaks oil sputtering out. generally compression for a honda engine should be around 120 psi so if your compressor is set at that it should work.
