So many choices and im on a budget, i'd like to get one for under a hundred. But you get what you pay for so the venom winch and the xtreme brand have the same style of website so i figure same company but i heard the xtreme brand has bad customer service, but venom has good customer service and then another brand viper seems like a good winch and heard has good customer service. I guess i'll take a risk and just choose one lol

I bought a 170 lb Tusk from Rocky Mountain ATV a few years back for my Rubicon, it does OK. Considering the price was around $100 and I've used it a lot over the last four years I've gotten my money out of it. Last summer when my daughter swamped my Rubi I used the winch to hang it from a tree high on the bank to drain the water out of the exhaust before getting it running again. I think the Tusk and the Superwinch are the same winch with different names.

I recently bought a Venom for my Polaris Ranger, it arrived in short order. I ordered it last Thursday, got it on Tuesday. I'm going to install it tomorrow. The Venom appears very well built, I like the way they package their winches so that you get everything you need for the install when you buy them.

My BIL has bought and fixed a bunch of ATVs to resell the last few years, and he isn't real impressed with the Warn winch. The price difference between it and a cheap Harbor Freight winch is huge, the quality of the winches is not as great.
