Default Bike wont start.

I bought a 2004 Recon about two weeks ago that had been sitting up for a while. I got the bike home and pulled the carb off and rebuilt it. After I rebuilt the carb the bike started up and ran like a champ. Now the kicker, is it has been sitting in my garage for about a week now and has started and ran everytime i have hit the start button. I have not riden the bike because I am replacing the rear bearings. Now the bike will not start it is getting fire because i changed the spark plug and checked it and made sure it was firing.
Any advice would be very appreciated..

Make sure nothing is blocking the fuel lines, also i think there is a filter inside the tank you would have to remove the petcock but it would be worth a shot.

Im pretty sure there is a screen in the tank but you have to remove the petcock but i wish you luck hopefully you get it figured out, but thats all i can think of just start at the tank and work your way down.

Just try draining the carb with the fuel off and when it quits draining turn the fuel on and let some fresh fuel flow and close the drain screw. It doesn't take long for the fuel these days to go bad in a small "container" such as the bowl of the carb.

Well I got the bike running again. Drained the tank and carb, put fresh gas in and presto it would idle just fine. Now when you try to rev it up it actsl like it is drowning out. I think its off to the shop come tomorrow...

check your spark plug that is worth a thousand words, sounds to me like it is to rich or to lean and change your air filter if you havent already.
