Hey ya'll!
Gonna be hooking up a utility trailer for hauling firewood and yard debris, etc... Is the hitch gonna work? I'm mostly trying to confirm if it'll work on the '09 RECON, and if anyone here might say something bad about it, or suggest another product? Here's a link: http://www.bikebandit.com/product/A3280124 Any help on a trailer setup is welcome. I will be towing it behind the quad on some very unregular surfaces, so I wonder if a standard hitch/ball/coupler will allow for enough movement when I go up over an incline. I am thinking a hookup with a tow loop kinda setup might allow more movement in all directions???? Thanks, happy riding! I'm headed out now to enjoy the new ride!

Thanks for the help! I got it and hooked it up, and it's working.
I said above that I wanted to tow on uneven ground, and a regular hitch didn't have near enough articulation. So, I figured out the following (see pic) - it only takes a few seconds to undo the nuts to hithc/unhitch the trailer, and it can go over any terrain without issue. I am happy how it worked out! ![]() |
