Hi, I was just wanting to know, what are some simple not too expensive mods I could add?

I read somewhere that putting a snorkel on would let more air go in, but my parents won't let me get one. I even asked about putting a homemade one on, but they still said no.

Some mods I thought about adding or exhaust ( Is it the Big Gun or Hmf? I think its the Big Gun that sounds like a little toy machine gun.) I also want to add a K And N air filter, and jet kit. (Not sure what this does, but i've heard that it's good for the atv.)

Thanks

You will need to do a jet kit with any of those mods. Filter, jet, and exhaust are the easiest. To save money your best bet is to look for somebody selling a HMF used. More air + more fuel= more power

Go with the K & N filter first. Look for one on eBay and don't be in a hurry to buy it. They're on there everyday and watch the shipping costs. That'll kill a good deal. Then go with a exhaust system. And as someone said, look for a used one. Some folks go thru them until they get the sound or performance they want. As far a snorkrel, you'll see very little hp help with that. Changing the jetting in the carb will help too. Just don't get carried away. Keep reading what folks say and don't believe all that is written about horsepower increases. And you'll find out that increasing the horsepower will show weak spots in the drivetrain. Good luck and take it slow in your quest for more power.

Instead of making or buying a snorkel, you could cut the opening out of the stock snorkel. Currently it is about the size of a quarter but you could open it up to the size of a tennis ball.
