I have a Recon 250 and problems with lots of fuel coming out of the overflow at the bottom of the bowl. It wants to fire but keeps flooding. My floor gets soaked with gas.

It sounds like there is something stuck in the needle valve seat or the float is stuck in the down position. It probably would be best to remove the carb and check these items out before you start a fire. While you're at it, change the fuel filter also. Hope this helps and let us know what you find.
