What is the best way to repair a slow leak?

Sealant in the tire?
Plug?
Patch inside tire?

Thanks for the help.

all depends on where it is....if you actually have a small hole....take the tire off and patch from inside. If it is bigger you will need to plug it.

if it is on the rim.....take it off clean the rim and reinstall

last resort my opinion don;t use tire slime until you actually need it in a emergency situation.....

tire slime can be a pain in the butt to remove when it comes time to properly fix your tire. it also can affect the balance. its a last resort. I would use it in the bush in an emergency but thats it

I agree w/previous post's...for me the preference (ease) would be plug first and if that didn't work go to the inside to patch. Rubber plugs would be better over the stranded auto type in my opinion.

Thanks. I will try the patch or plug. Is there a special kit I can purchase? I would like to do this myself.
