I just bought a couple of 4wheelers in a package deal and neither of them were running. One is an 01 Recon 250 and I think I have an idea why it may have been "parked." The battery is disconnected and the starter relay solenoid is missing. In addition to that, the starter cord was stuck in the "out" position and I discovered that one of the pawls in the pull-start was actually protruding through the case of the pull-starter. I pulled it all apart and the plastic internals of the pull starter are all torn up with pieces floating around in there. So my guess is that the battery went out on this thing so they started using the pull start and that when the pull start broke, they parked it (until they sold it to me.)

So, I am now at a point where I find myself looking for new internals for the pull start. I also plan to start buying some of the other missing parts like the starter solenoid, brake light as well as some other broken pieces such as the intake hose, battery, seat cover and a new ignition key. Most of the parts seem to be readily available on Ebay, but I am having trouble finding the brake light and the pull-starter. Does anyone have any favorite parts sources?

Also, the tires are pretty hashed (they look original) and, being the cheapo that I am, I'd like to replace them with the absolute cheapest ones out there. Can anyone direct me to a source for them?
