Too deep,
when you set the valves on the compression stroke i know the cam lobes should be facing down. Are they distinctly facing down? because i remember when i put it all together and set mine i couldn't tell if they were exactly down or up. it was almost kinda in between

Just an update, I found the problem. My cam lobes were wore down. You couldnt tell by feel it was evenly worn but i put a mic on it and the intake lobe was .040 off and exhaust lobe was .030 off
