Default 2005 rincon 650 error 9 with esp blink

While out last weekend I had a stick go right up from underneath all the way to handlebars which in doing so ripped out shift a and b and also the linear valve wires out of there connectors all this while submerged in water. I since then have fixed all connectors but I get the blink 9 times with esp also showing. I can't seem to find any info in regards to the esp on the lcd in the error mode. I hope I'm wrong that the tcm is the problem. Before i purchase another any advice or other checks to confirm would be appreciated. thx guys

Welcome to the forum. That code is for the B shift solenoid. Double check that connector and the wires to make sure they are good.

thx for the welcome greeting. Wires and connectors check back good and I've reset and retrieved several times. One test I tried was taking solenoid shift A connector off while solenoid B connected and the the same error 9. Should'nt error code 8 have come up in the comp's 2 code memory?
