I have a '03 Rincon w/ Warn winch that can be mounted/moved from front to rear of machine. I was running the winch on the front w/ just the key in the on position w/o the machine running & after a second or two the winch, digital power head & lights went away & now I cant trace back the problem. I have checked the fuses under the seat & none seem to be shot. Does anyone have any ideas????

Welcome to the forum. Recheck the fuses using a test light/meter if you have one. Also check the battery connections. Any deeper than that we will need to know what wire they wired the source wire to on the mini rocker switch/contactor.

Thanks for responding, I really appreciate any help I can get on this! As for the rocker switch. The set up for the winch is it has a 1" tube in the front & rear that the warn winch can be moved to/from w/ disconnects on the front & rear. The rocker switch itself is about a 10' lead w/ a quick connect that plugs into the right side of the machine near the 12 volt factory outlet. When I turn the key to the on position & hit the in or out on the rocker, I get the clicking noise at the relay located behind/under the rear of the seat but nothing else at the power head as far as the digital display or green light for neutral. Does this give any further info for you? Thanks again for any assistance! |

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked & it seemed that there is ground based on I can plug in the winch lead & when I hit the in/out switch I get a click at the relay behind/under the rear of the seat. I am still trying to trace things back. Any other ideas? It's driving me nuts! Thanks for any assistance you can provide! |
